During my last trip to Paris I decided to finally find out what boutique hotels were about. I heard about it all the time on the internet, magazines, even during conversations with friends. However, when you ask people to give you the definition of a boutique hotel you never get the same answer twice.
I decided to figure it out myself. After a bit of research on the Internet I decided to book with the Starhotels Castille on the picture below, in Paris Louvre area ( 1st district).
The Castille is a four stars property in Louvre area. The style is contemporary chic blended with venitian-inspired furniture and fabrics. The price per night for a double was €450.

My stay at the Castille helped me grasp the Boutique hotel concept:
They are Smaller in size than regular luxury hotels, usually less than 100 rooms.
Unique design and ambiance created through careful combination of furniture, fabrics, light and color arrangements. A feel at home with great customer services. Usually ratio is 3 guests for 1 employee.
Overall staying in a boutique hotel made my stay in the French capital even more pleasurable.
